Collabration with a big German multinational specialist in the production of all kind of machines, mainly used for intralogistic solutions e.g. baggage handling.
A few details
THE PROJECTS
The projects were realized in collaboration with the Benelux division of the German company. This division is specialized in custom made internal logistic solutions that cannot be realized by standard products from the German parent company.
The realized projects are e.g.:
– Special single product on pallet transport
– Small bag sorting system
To arrange maintenance and support for these projects, an SLA has been drawn up.

SPECIFICATIONS
The realized software only consists of back-ends. The HMI of the PLC is used as an interface for the operators. The back-ends has communication with an ERP system (e.g. Oracle or MS Dynamics), in that way the back-end retrieves the order information and can tell the PLC to which direction the product should be send e.g. for label printing or sorting. At the end of the conveyor the product is sorted in a box or in a trailer (depending the size of the product).
How we solved it
OUR APPROACH
Communication with PLC’s that control the conveyors (pallet, case or bag) is standardized. Information about the product on the system is therefor handled by standard protocols and processes. In that way a product can be moved easly from production machine to end destination.
